The CPU, input devices and Output devices are all examples of hardware, the tern used in the computer world to describe something we can reach out and actually touch. However, hardware by itself is passive-unless we instruct it to do something, it just site around twiddling its thumbs– and unlike a person, it never gets bored

As a computer is essentially a very simple thing (it does fast, base two arithmetic and nothing else) it requires some pretty complex introduction to make it do anything which might be useful. This is where Software comes in. Form users’ view point there is no computer world without Software

SORTWARE

Technically, Software is the tern given to anything which is not hardware-that includes the documentation which come with the hardware ( the information is software anyway, although the paper it’s painted on is probably hardware) in the main, however, it describes the date and programs.

Strictly with this meaning, there are two types of software—Systems software and Application Software . System software actually controls the basic functions of the computer, while applications software is used to do a specific job-the reson you bought the computer in the first place. in one side, the system software interacts with the hardware of the computer. The other side of the system software interact with the application software, through which the user interact with the computer.
